I have a 1994 Firebird Formula. the door locks do not work from either switch. The power mirrors work fine and the hatch release works. I have factory keyless entry. I do not have a key fob. When you use shebox's procedure to program a fob the doors should lock... mine do nothing. I have power to all the appropriate places on both switches. I have a good ground on both switches. I have continuity between both switches and to the keyless entry module. when i use the lock switches the wires power and ground properly to the keyless entry box. All this leads to a conclusion of a bad keyless entry box. Basically everything works right in and not out... when i try to lock or unlock the door both wires power up? now this sounds like a short but if you unplug the acctuator and continuity test between the terminals there is none? I was told this box came out of a working car when I got it but who knows i guess what i am asking is does anyone have any idea's. I have performed a full system check per Mitchell on-lines guidelines but to no avail.... please someone say you have some idea's... oh if i use teh switch the fuse is fine... if i hold it for about 20 seconds the fuse will eventually blow out.
