Guys, im hoping someone with some experience can tell me by looking at my pics if its me or are these valve seals not seated properly? I paid a local garage to do my head work when i was rebuilding the lt1 in my 95 TA. After breaking in i noticed i kept having an issue with a little oil burning all the time. After a compression and leak down test as well as checking all other sensors and for air leaks, i found myself looking at these valve seals. The heads are casting 743 i believe from a 92-93 Corvette LT1. Does the valve seals look to be in the correct position on the valve stem or is it normal for the exhaust seals to be slid up towards the top of the valve springs?
