Does anyone have a Harlan shift light?
Does anyone have a Harlan shift light?
I haven't looked inside it to see what type of chip he uses, but are the RPM settings permanently stored or do you lose them with a battery disconnect?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Mine doesn't loose the settings when you disconnect.
I've heard he stopped making them. You can always pull it out and push the button nubmer 2 to see if its still got the right settings in it

Thanks.
I was thinking of putting mine behind the vent which would make it difficult to remove and reset each time the battery is disconnected.

Re: Does anyone have a Harlan shift light?
If someone has the direction for the shift light they might be able to post them up.
I just went out to his site and the store is down until further notice as of 4/21.
Hopefully someone that already has one installed, mine isn't yet, can give you a better answer.
Anyone have a copy of the directions they could e-mail me...I can't find mine and with the store being closed, I can't get new ones.

Re: Does anyone have a Harlan shift light?
I'm actually working on a similar shift-light/RPM switch/etc... I need to cough up about $300 to get it finalized; (Software, and real PCBs); but when I do, I'll probably be offering a similar product.
And the settings are stored in non-volitale memory; thus if you remove the power, the settings remain.
