Do O2s need to break in?

Do O2s need to break in?

Just put 2 new ones in and gas mileage hasn't changed (was scanned before replaced and one was trash) Thanks in advance.

I doubt it. Most electronics work perfectly when new, then slowly get worse through their life range.

02's do not need to break in but your computer might need to relearn the readings from the o2 sensor. Depends how long you have driven with the new o2 sensor.
