Disable automatic light turn on
Re: Disable automatic light turn on
REAL easy
.
Do you know where the light sensor is on top of the dash? Well, pop up that big plastic dash piece (it's got I think 4 clips holding it down, and you pry it up from the back edge). Find the light sensor neer the middle, and it should have 2 wires going to it. Now you've got 2 options: one is you can cut the wires, and join them together on the car side, which by-passes the sensor. The other option that some guys do is to unplug the sensor, and use a wire or even a paper clip to link the 2 terminals together (same effect as joining the wires). Tape it all up, put the dash back down, and enjoy having control over your lights!!
