Difference between Firebird & Trans Am?
Basically I am asking: Could I easily enough build a Trans Am Equivalent with a Firebird Body without too many hassles (and with it looking virtually identical to a original Trans Am)?
I am wanting to completely restore a 1998+ Trans Am. Currently I am looking for just a roller body and then I'm going to go from there. I am not having much luck but I have seen some standard Firebird options. So my question is this, what is the difference between the Firebird Body & the Trans Am Body? (Just the spoiler?)
Obviously I know that there are A LOT of performance differences (though I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be able to port from one or the other)

Trans Am has a full ground effects kit, including front and rear bumper covers and side skirts and high rise spoiler. TA's all have posi rear axle and disc brakes, most V6 cars have neither (although they were optional). Suspension components will not neccesarily have the same "rates", as far as springs and shocks, diameter of sway bars, etc. Dash will have a 110mph speedo, while many TA's have 155mph. The tranny and clutch will be different if its a manual. Exhuast system will be smaller on the V6 car.
