dielectric grease...on more than just plugs?

some of you may have seen my thread about the car getting partially flooded by hurricane wilma...saltwater...

one of the o2 sensors went bad, and when i pulled the connector on the sensor one of the prongs was corroded horribly.

cleaned it off, and installed the new sensor and all is well.

MY QUESTION

if i go through all the underbody connectors and clean them, would it be a good idea to squeeze a little dielectric grease in the connectors to help prevent corrosion and maybe keep more of a watertight seal?

i'm worried about things like the connectors on the trans (skip shift and VSS etc...) and things like the connections on the rear axle and the gas tank.

this is all preventative measures...

but would it hurt??

that is your only hope of them lasting, take them all apart, clean with electrical cleaner and grease them

It shouldn't hurt anything to do this, I mean the grese is ok to use on electrical connections so why not? Give it a whirl on 1 thing and see how it works out.
