Day From Hell... Help!

Alright, so I am 325 miles away from home and I start my car up and it is running like crap - "limp home mode". Great, okay. So I get the code read and "no activity o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1". Okay, so I get a new O2 sensor, no big deal. I drive up onto the ramps to change it and go to pull my e-brake... SNAP! The e-brake F's up. It pulls all the way up without hesitation. I pulled my center console off and the cable is slack all the way until the handle is straight up. WTF is going on? Is my e-brake locked on now? HOW DO I FIX THIS???? God I wish I wasn't 325 miles away from home right now

Alright, no longer a code red... I dont think. I got the new O2 sensor in and it feels like it drives okay. Still need to take it on the road though. I got under the car and the front portion of my e-brake cable snapped so I have another one on order. At least the car is running now so I can get back home! Thanks guys.
