CSR water pump wiring
Do you need to use the 30 amp relay that is recommended from summit?
what are some things that you guys did?
i have to get my front clip put on by sunday so i can take it to the transmission shop.
so i dont want to be running back and forth to the autoparts store.
if you could please tell me what i need so i only have to make one trip.
thank you

Re: CSR water pump wiring
Basically you just need a 30 amp / 12 volt relay (I got mine from radio shack) and some 14 gauge wire.
I used a 30 amp / 12 volt relay , ran a +12 volt from the positive battery terminal box on the pass. fender to the relay and also grounded the relay, ran a wire from the 10 amp ignition fuse in the fuse box to the relay so that it had power when the key was in the ignition, and then ran power from the relay to the pump and grounded the pump. Worked very well for me and was straight forward and simple. I found a nice diagram here on to do it (it looked like it was drawn in Paint or something). Let me know if you have any other questions.
P.S. My pump was a Meziere, but i believe that the wiring would be the same.
