Cruise control not working

My cruise control is inoperable, where should I start looking after I verify that the fuse isn't blown?

Re: Cruise control not working

not sure on the f-body's, but I have seen a burned out CHMBL (center brake light) kill cruise in other GM cars.

Re: Cruise control not working

This is a pretty widespread and common problem in these cars. Some have found that the 3rd brake light will go out and cause the cruise control to stop functioning. I replace my tail lights and it still doesn't work. I've heard of people replacing the entire cruise module and it still doesn't work, so basically, good luck, since there's no concrete solution.

Re: Cruise control not working

On mine the brake pedal switch had moved. Easy fix.
