Re: Cost to replace a feul pump?

I think i've heard people say anywhere from 500-1000 because they have to pretty much drop the rear end out and it can be a real pain. Most of us just cut an access hole and it makes it much easier. If you cut the hole it should take about 4-5hrs, 3hrs of that is just letting the glue dry on the fuel pump bucket.

Re: Cost to replace a feul pump?

im in montana 20 mins from canada and i did it myself this winter and it was snowing with no garage but if you can't do it yourself i won't suggest to cut through the top of the rear hatch flat area not the t-top storage area......it takes about 4 hours total if your very slow cautious and careful as your cutting through thin metal with a fuel tank on the bottom side that could explode...
