Cooling ?- Stock Radiator Any Good?
I don't have any proof, but just by looking at the stock radiator, I can't believe that thing is any good. I have a '97 Trans Am with an automatic transmission and was thinking about getting rid of it (actually I broke it and need a replacement anyways).
What are my options?
If I order a radiator from an aftermarket's company built for manual transmission (which appear to be cheaper), could I run it and then buy a transmission cooler to take care of the tranny?
Do aftermarket radiators usually come with places for throttle body coolant? I am just far enough north in northern Virginia that an especially cool morning would freeze the blades shut- or atleast that's what I believe.
Thanks for any help
