I have a 94z28 w/ 4l60e and does the console from a 99z28 fit? The stk 94 is p.o.s and even through i fiixed it, it still isn,t solid and the pin slides out which makes it even worse. I hope they fix this kind of problems w/ the 5th gen!

I don't know what you mean by r and r, but it's just told the screws out of your old one, and put the new one in. No fabrication, it uses the same holes. The newer one has an extra screw, and you can either just ignore that or drill a hole for it.

 

It will bolt in just fine, but there will be a big empty space between the dash and the console...still looks better than the old console though IMO.
