When i do my daily driving, I usually go 1-2-4 just because I am lazy. If I am getting on it, I hit them all.

I do 1-2-4-5 when I'm just cruising. Or 1-2-5 when I'm steppin on it. Sometimes I'll hit them all just to practice speed shifting. It's funny to watch a camaro doing like 30 in the middle of traffic on the way to school chirping second every time.

gm did it for NOISE emissions
I thought it was so they could avoid the gas guzzler tax / reduction in fuel usage?

I usually do all 6 when getting on the highway, and around town 1-2-4 or 6 depending on speed limit.

Re: Conservative M6 Guys: Skip Shift?

I use to not use it, but then I gave my car a tune up and have no problem using it, car doesn't buck or shake at all anymore going from 1-4 since the tune up, so now I sometimes use it if I end up triggering it, usually I just do them all and shift under 1500 rpms, for normal driving, if I am getting on the highway and theres no one around, I usually let em rip
