Re: code 22

The ones at Harbor freight are cheap (~$6) and fairly good except for the test leads. If you buy one, use your old leads instead. if that is the case.

Re: code 22

It shouldn't matter, but to get a real reading put it on the 200k range.

Went to test with the 200k measure and the battery died replaced the battery measured a 04.4ohms then went to the 2000 measure that showed a 1880 before now shows a 1210ohms

Re: code 22

The voltage measurement looks better with the new battery, but I still don't trust the ohms readings. The coolant temp sensor should read about 7000 ohms (or 7 kohms): 4th Gen LT1 F-body Tech Articles
Was the 4.4 ohms reading possibly a 4.4 kohms reading of the tps?

It's possible the meter may have damage that affects the ohmmeter reading circuit.

Re: code 22

Looks like the meter is bad when measuring resistance.
Honestly, I would order the cheapest TPS I could fine just to try it out. I know the good Delco ones cost about $50 but you can get Chinese-made ones for about $10. If it works, then you could opt for the better one.

Re: code 22

Are you saying now that the starter doesn't work? Check all the fuses; you may have blown one changing the tps.
Let's keep the conversation going in here because we lose continuity via email. Just give me an email to let me know you made a new post here.
