Unhappy clutch issues that got me stumped

i did a burn out and long story short tore up clutch. I have a 97 383 LT1 with a t56 6 speed tranny. After the burn out I got that awful *** smell from the clutch. this happened about 1230 friday night on my way home from work. I drove a hour to pick my buddy up to take the old clutch out and repalce it. We got back and started the work around 4 in the morning we took evertything out and replaced the clutch kit with a all new one. around 5 in the afternoon we stopped because the problem wasn't fixed. It was doing the samething that it was when we started. before when I pushed in on the clutch i heard grinding. you could still drive it but it would groind when you pushed in on the clutch. when we changed everything and put the new one in it still still the samething. same grinding and back with the burnt clutch smell. that was just from starting the car. so we took the tranny back off to look at it and found out that my fork was hitting the inside and outside of the pressure plate. The bolt doen't look like it is stretched. STUMPED!!! the fork dosen't look bent either. I hae decided to go with a new slave cyclinder and new fork and bolt and hopefully that fixes the problem.. if any one has any knowledge or expereince with this problem let me know . IM stumped!!!

Exclamation people should only read if they want 2 and not be jerks (a forum is for questions)

clutch reply
yeah I know what frorums are for and i can read but why do you decide what and where I can post a legit question that i need an answer to. answers are what I want and posts like your quotes are a waste to me. if you don;t want to answer or read a post in an off lounge or you think it dosen't fit you don't have to open it you can simply scroll pass it and read someone elses post. I have a problem and need any and all help. i don't care where i post if it gets answered i just know certain people who know alot about my car can answer it in this lounge. they just talk in this lounge so if you don't like my post in this lounge than don't read it

i need help not something telling me rules when this whole site is deigned for help and fun

I need answers not people relocating threads or trying to me how to post what and where I want so i can get my questions answered. you don't have to click on my post to reply you can ignore it and read thru others ... Im using this website forum the way it was designed,,,,to talk about anything and camaros to get a serious qustion answered.....explain this.....I can't post a camaro question in a camaro site but ricers and others can??????
