Cleaning up the headlights on my 2000 SS

They're looking very hazy. I want to make them clear again. I remember a while back someone used sandpaper to clean them up, but I can't find the thread. So I wanted to know if anybody else knows how to clean them up? Thanks.

I've heard Meguairs PlastiX works well. It is basically a polish for plastics. This should probably go in the Show and Shine forum.

I was told that this makes them look brand new. I need to order some also.

Save your money. That won't do any better than the Meguairs PlastiX Polish. I know people who have used that and it worked great.

Without even seeing your car, it's still new enough that you shouldn't need any sand paper. Maguire's Plastic polish and a little elbow grease will fix them up nicely.

If you ever need sand paper, start out with 2000 grit and water. If that doesn't cut it, go down to 1500, then back up to 2000, then use some plastic polish.
