Check this out!

A friend of mine who lives in Germany sent me pictures of some seats he is putting in his Camaro. They came out of an Audi TT and look awsome. He is also going to be recovering the rear seats to match.

Re: Check this out!

He said they practically bolted right in. He is working on something for the seatblet guide because the belt was cutting into his neck.

Re: Check this out!

They do look good in the car, very similar to the original style. Are they much more comfortable?

Very nice. More pics and info, please!
Are they power or manual?
Any lumbar adjustment?
Do they sit at the same height as the stock seats?
Are they more comfortable?

:I'll post more when he gets it done.
:I'm not sure, but out of an Audi I'd guess yes. I do know they are heated and have side airbags in them.
:Audi...I'd guess yes.

Re: Check this out!

Hello friends on the other side of the big pond

I'm the owner of this nice Camaro!

The seats are from my brothers Audi TT......
They are very comfortable, much more like the original and they
are very solid too.

But they have no gimmicks like lumbar or power assistand.....
They are nearly stock high, but you can adjustable the high on both.
Yes, they are heated and they have side airbags, but the airbags
not connected.....

The front was a simple bold on with a custom made bracked - only a piece of flat steel to match the bolts come out of the chassis.

At the rear there is much more work, in the moment I make custom brackets for the folds back part to use the Audi TT vertical part.
With the two buckets I have no idea in the moment. The Audi part don't fit without large mods.

here you can see the original Audi TT rear seats

I think I use the original Camaro rear buckets and cover them with leather!

Re, have you any information about the covers?

okay, this is my project

besides, it's a european version of the 4th gen Camaro!
You see sidemarkers in the fenders and big rear mirrors that can sway away during an impact with a pedestrian.....
In the rear bumper there are two red fog light's and the interior is unchanged exept the seats, they are from the Firebird, because the Camaro has no adjustable headrest.... (european regulation)
The rear muffler is only a single endpipe design... noise regulation and the speedo is a metric version (kilometer)

The first modification was to remove the euro mirrors (in Germany we say fly swatter) I bought a original pair from RE and CHERYL

I will post more soon!

greetings
Thomas

PS: sorry for my english.... it's a long time ago that I had english at school
