I'm having trouble ejecting CD's. When I hit the eject button all I get is a clicking(skipping) sound.When I'm playing a tune the music jumps when I hit a bump also! Is this thing worth fixing and where. Thanks for reading my thread.

 

CD player is junk. try to get the CD out and if u cant, take the CD player outta the car,tear it apart (only if u want the cd back) then proceed to throw it in the trash can...then find a new CD player u like.

 

I once had a similar problem. I ended up removing the CD portion from the radio housing and sending it to a place in Florida. For $60 the guy completely rebuilt the CD mechanism. He replaced the motors and several of the on-board parts. He tested it and sent it back to me. I reassembled the radio and installed it in the car. I havent had a problem with it since.

I cant remember the name of the shop, though I did find it online, though so if you hunt around a bit you might find them. Some places wanted alot more to do the same work.
