Catalytic converter questions

I'm almost done putting MAC headers on the car but dont want to put the stock catalytic converter back on cause to me that seems to defeat the purpose of the headers. I do not want it to be super loud so I'm still going with a catalytic converter but want to know some opinions on them. I do not want to spend $200+ bucks on a random tech cat. I'd like to have one but that's just too much in my opinion. I've checked the for sale section and didnt see any random techs still available. So I guess my questions are:

1-Has anyone had any experience good/bad with Catco or Dynomax?

2-Do you have part numbers?

3-Is there a place with a price cheaper than $239 for Random Tech?

Edit:
4-Does anyone know where to get a Car Sound cat from?

Thanks

Oh, and I did a search and came up with some stuff but just wanted some recent feedbacks.

If being too loud is your main concern, then why not just change the muffler?

I have a Dynomax supercat it is supposed to be the "highest flowing cat" blah blah blah. I did pay $225 for it because mine was clogged.

Re: Catalytic converter questions

Hello everyone, a couple people told me I need to change my catalytic converter to eliminate the rattle sound that comes out from my muffler. Is this true? Is it hard replacing the a cat? Will it cause problems to my car if I took out the cat?

Re: Catalytic converter questions

Down at the bottom of this page, you will see two different high flow cats. The bullet style would be ideal if you are wanting to do like a dual cat setup and then they have the other type. The prices are very good also.
