Need Advise!!!!!!

Hello Fbods wass up!!!! im sure you people have been through this phase before or currently in it. Ill get right to the point. Ive been contiplating the idea of just making my 94 355 LT1 Camaro strickly a DRAG CAR!!, I think my car is reaching the point were its time to stop driving on the freeway. But to the track only. But heres the thing. Every time im in my Ranger. I see another Camaro or Trans AM. IM like DAMN!!. It makes me wanna keep my car Street instead of Strip. BUt I fear I run the risk of something breaking down again. So my question would be what to do. DO i make it a Street/Strip Car. Or just go strickly Drag. ROLL cages, Racing seats, Skinnies. The whole nine yards. My car used to be my primary Transportion BUt not anymore. I have a 01 Ranger Edge Lifted on 33's. I need help please post a message back on similar concerns

Re: Need Advise!!!!!!

Although this doesn't really seem like a tech question..........I'll halfways give you a reply anyhow......

I say do what you feel will make you the happiest, but also keep in mind that you may end up sinking a whole wad of dough on the Camaro and have yourself a decent drag car.....only to have it continually breaking on you....

If it were me, I would go for a nice middle ground. Have it streetable and dragable at the same time.

Ranger on 33's? Would like a pic if you have it!
I used to have a S10 on 35's...........was cool.

Re: Need Advise!!!!!!

There are a few guys in my area running around in cars with cages, hopped up motors, nitrous, ET Streets & skinnies, the works ..... and they're still STREET cars, as well as killer track cars . That's what I'd do. Don't kill your car's streetability. Fine if you don't use it as a "daily driver" anymore, but leave the option there. That's half the fun of F-bodies ..... any car can be a track only car, but F-bodies are the best of both worlds ..... let the car stay where it belongs .
