cat converter

cat converter

I have a 95 z28 with one converter, can i cut the cat off without setting off a ses code, I dont have smog laws either

You can cut it out and go without one and it won't set an SES code because there isn't an O2 sensor behind the cat. Some people will tell you that it sounds like crap but I like the sound of mine without one. All I can say is try it and if you don't like the sound put the cat back in.

Well i cut it off. I think is sound better now, But here pretty soon ill have a X-PIPE and flowmaster 40 series on it.
