car wont start after useing seafoam, help please.
To start off i had the hose burst comming from the water pump to the heater core. i replaced that hose and a few other and i had to take off a few sensors and tubes. when i put all the hoses back and connected the sensors and filled up the radiator and started it up and finished filling the coolant. when i was done i sprayed seafoam into the throttle body to clean it out and i let it sit for a minute and it wouldnt start. it sounds like its going to start but it wont turn over, any suggestions?
the seafoam shouldnt be a big deal, if all you did is spray a little in the throttlebody. (now if you did the brake booster thing you might have hydrolocked the motor)
only thing i can think of is when you were messing with the hoses some water killed the opti?
but you say it ran after you did the hoses...

Did you try starting it as if it were flooded, which it probably is if you are spraying unburned hydrocarbons, fuel, into the intake? Hold the gas pedal to the floor and crank it for 15 or 20 seconds, pumping lots of air through the engine- Probably start and run rough, with lots of smoke-
