Car won't Start

I have a 94 Z which will not start. I turn the key, everything lights up, fuel pump goes on, but the engine will not even attempt to crank. I had the entire dash out as i replaced it since the old one was broken. The car started and ran before i tore the dash out, i put everything back together, reconnected everything and now i have nothing.

I am noticing that the security light stays on for about a minute or two after the car is turned off and locked. Not sure if i just didn't notice it before or that is something that just started and may be causing the problem.

I've checked and rechecked for loose and disconnected wires under the steering column, battery is charged. I have the battery disconnected at the moment and will reconnect tomorrow morning and see if that does anything. Anyone have any other ideas? Any help is much appreciated.

maybe the shift selector lock out or whatever its called that runs from the tranny to the top of the column, or the passlock isnt plugged in (reads the resistor in the key)

there are some relays under the dash on the passenger side, maybe one of them came unplugged, or forgot to plug them up. also the main purple wire that goes to the starter is in a plug under the dash too on the passenger side .

Did you have the steering disconnected and could it of got turned. If so you broke the wires in the column.

If the Security light was on it's a VAtS issue. Best way around it is to do the VATS Bypass heres a couple links
