Car shipping questions, who to use and how much?

I am thinking of having a car shipped from California but I am trying to see who I should use and how much it typically costs. I know there will be a difference in whether or not it is enclosed or not and running or not so any help would be nice.

From: Hell was full so they sent me to NJ
I used Tn'T to ship my Formula from CA to NJ, but that was about 10 years ago. Cost about $850. Excellent results.

I was thinking of sending mine from FL to AZ if I decide to move... I typed "car transportation" in google and a lot of companies came up, for some you can get a quick estimate, for others you have to provide an e-mail address and they quote for you later (which I hate, I don't like getting junk mail afterwards).

I used a google search and pushed my info through a "bid for my business" setup.

I had 5 or 10 companies contact me, I talked to them, and picked the one that I felt the best about.

I shipped two cars, my wife's old 4Runner and my Cobra, from Los Angeles to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, for about 700 each. (This was an open trailer in 2004.)

Just make sure they're insured, and that you are, too.

Yeah I've been looking but turns out I won't be getting the car I thought I was. About the best I found though was $695. It depends though when and where you are sending cars, at least that's what I am figuring out.

Ft. Worth to El Paso was $350 fully insured, but from Cali I'm sure it's alot more.
