I got everything done thats in my sig. Love the power gains from stock! ..but for some reason it seems like the car stops pulling hard after 4K RPMs

Now the lower end has got TONS of power, i have a hard time not fishtailing all over when i stand on it when i'm going less then 40mph! But once its done spining and is above 4K rpms. . BLAHHHHH!

I sent 4 datalogs to Ion from Madz28 and he confirms car should be running A+!

Is it just me and i'm expecting too much in the top end. . or is something amiss?

 

Get it dynoed so you can visually see whats happening.

or its just that you're overexpecting. what does it run in the 1/4 mi? should tell you what's up.

 

Well, the trans doesn't slip at all. It shift hard.. really hard! Gotta love shiftkits!

As for the 1/4mile. . havn't had a chance to put it on the track since it was completely stock. Dyno is much later.. i want heads before that.. too much money for a few pulls!

Update!
Put Fuel pressure gauge on it and was low. Replaced stock pump with 255lph Walbro intank and it noticably helped, but still pulls harder in the low end. . shouldn't it pull harder in uppper rpms till i hit max hp. .which i thought was around 6000rpm with lt4 hotcam?

 

I'll bet your fuel pump is dying... I've had the IDENTICAL problems you are having and it was the fuel pump. Car falls flat on its face right?
My buddy (just yesterday) had his replaced, exact same problems too. Oh btw these are both 95 Camaros as well

IF you can slap a fuel pressure guage on there, duct tape it to the windshield and see how she does at WOT. I'll gurantee the fuel pressure drops when your car falls on its face

 

I like the dyno idea mentioned above.

fuel pump was giving out!
New 255LPH Walbro intank and feels much better..
