Car covers, special order...

I need some advice on car covers for the Z. It will be outdoors, through the winter etc. Will see some sun, rain, sap, dust, snow etc.

Looking for good brands/models...

Also, i have a full ground effects kit on the car from WW. Is their a cover that will fit this, or do places make special fit covers?

Get the Noah Type cover for all weather protection. Most sellers have them for both the stock and RS (ground fx) cars. Several manufactures offer custom covers. Like Hollywood car covers.

For a excellent fit car cover try California Car Cover Co www.calcarcover.com.
Try the Srormguard material. They do custom covers for all cars.

I have a SLP car cover and my car has sat outside for 4-5 months with it on and it is perfect. Nice tight fit so it doesnt scratch. I washed my car before it went under and it was clean when I put the car back on the road. I would recommend the SLP from my expierience.

Re: Car covers, special order...

check out carmotorsports.com as well, GM licensed and these covers are made of very lightweight umbralla-type material. absolutely no water spots/seepage on the car. i've tried others before and this is the best one yet. the triple tie downs are awesome too. thick belts front and back that prevent wind blow off; a frequent problem as covers age and elastic wears.

Those are the cheapest car covers made, you don't want a cover made out of nylon type material.

they're all made from nylon derivatives....

this cover i'm talking about is coated with metallic particles and far stronger than the thicker ones. i've had those and they rot and crack after a few winters.
