can you replace a '93+ electric mirror motor?

can you replace a '93+ electric mirror motor?

I just happen to have a nice power mirror, and a motor that works fine, but the mirror doesn't have the motor installed. The motor in the mirror now is shot. How can you replace them, can you just pop the mirror out and unbolt the motor?

it's probably possible...but not practical...

buy the whole unit off ebay for $40

dealer cost was $250 last time i checked
