Question Can I use an LS1 oil drain plug on my LT1?

Just wondering, there's a guy selling a magnetic plug for C5 and LS1. Can that fit my 96 LT1. The dealer said they cwitched from SAE to metric in 96. Everything 96+ is metric.

I picked up a magnetic plug from Pep Boys; my '95 has a metric plug.

Just goto autozone. The threading on the plugs may not be the same. Instead of a magnetic plug put a magnet on the oil filter, you'll be surprised at what it catches.
