Can I use any BCM?
Right now I have the BCM out of my 96Z28 with full power in my 96 3.8 Camaro with manual every thing. The Z28 now needs a BCM. So, will any 96-02 work? I obviously know that the power options dont matter, but do i need to make sure its out of a manual trans car? My cars are 5 and 6 speed. Can it only be from a F-body, or maybe a y or b? Thanks

If you swap key pellets it should work.The bcm holds the pellet value in it. Im pretty sure you would need one from a f-body. I know that the part #'s are different. There are three different part #'s
one for 94-95 one for 96 and one for 98-02.
