That would be the infamous Flowmaster 80 series muffler you got there. My '95 T/A had one in place of the stock one when I bought it used. now currently running a 4" Mufflex with the race series Flowmaster, single in/single out. The only other muff available at the time for it was a Spintech.
You plan on upgrading? You could go to a Magnaflow, Hooker Aerochamber, or Corsa muffler to name a few or do a full catback from the same companies with good results for sound and power if you don't like your current setup.

Good luck, Allan.

Alrighty cool, you 100% sure? ya its O.K. sounding, but I'm growing quite tired of it. Considering mac mids-ORY-pipe into hooker aero, as soon as the funds are available

Yup...Thats a Flowmaster. The bump on the one end is a dead give away, I'll bet it has a tin echoing sound like something is bouncing around inside it. Ya either love it or hate it.

Blue, I'm pretty sure it is, I have the same one on my '82 as well except I had the inlet opened up to 3" to accept a header flange to mate to the Thrush catback. They do get a bad rep for the drone at around 2000 rpm, both of mine do it, kind of use to it. I got a 4" Dynomax bullet to try out and see what that sounds like, probably will be loud as all get out. Your proposed setup should sound pretty good. Hooker's got a strong following on here.

Speedy, I'm around the Coliseum Mall area, work nights.

Gotta get some sleep. Allan.
