I just sold a 03 Gt stang with 13,000, only mods were a X pipe and cold air intake.

My just bought 97 Z-28 all stock with 67,000 miles will beat the GT all day!

I can take my Buddys 01GT by about a Fender or little. Knowing that frist hand id put my money on you! if the GT is stock, Never seen a V6 Supercharged Run dont know there..

my 96ss lt1 smoked a 01 mustang at the track by at least 5-6 car lengths, he even had some bolt ons to. he was running mid 15.00s in the quarter. like urbeNHunter44 said "99-04 GTs are DOGS."

You raced a 96-98. He's reffering to 99+. and 99+ V6's make almost as much power as a stock 96-98 so with 5lbs of boost he was proably making like 230-240 rwhp.

personally from seeing it first hand i dont think the main opponent would be the STOCK GT. My friend has a 00 Supercharged V-6 that ive seen take numorous 99-03 GT's by more than 2 car lengths. and my car with my mods (very few) can eat that by another 2 so end of story

oh yeah i forgot to add this. The LT1 was rated at 275 hp and 325 tq. bgut the corvette of the same years with the same motor had 300 and 325, something tells me that chevy was trying to justify the extra 10-15 grand for the corvette. btw i wasnt saying that my buddies V6 was faster than any gt but its pretty quick for a V-6 and ive driven it to beat som GT's. its still a fat girls car regardless.
