two of my friends have mustangs, one of them has a stock 00 gt and the other one has a supercharged v6 with only 5 pounds of boost
i am the only one with the camaro z28 and they are both tring to beat me

If the GT had the supercharger, it might be a good race, but with what you're working with, assuming you have some decent track skills (what Z28 owner doesn't?), you should win fairly easily.

A stock lt1 camaro and a stock 99+ 4.6 gt is a close race,but even drivers and the lt1 pulls away from the gt slowly.I learned first hand when my car 94 was stock against my buddies 00 gt.

99-04 GTs are DOGS. They have 260 fwhp, compared to 305ish FWHP of the LT1. Tell me who's gonna win?

I've never lost to one. Last one I raced was a Bullit mustang (unknown mods, had exhaust as least) and I had just a muffler and cai. Through first I put like half a car on him, then through the top of second he dropped back a few more. It was sad.
