Camaro Owners In Germany,
Camaro Owners In Germany,
I didnt see a regional link for outside the US, The Army is sending me off to Germany this year and I'm looking to see are any CZ28 guys out there already. I am shipping the car myself because I will not be without it for 3 years....Gonna need parts and mechanic support Im sure and a couple of autobauhn "tours" just starting the networking process. Any way, Just putting the feelers out.
hey man have fun out there. i was stationed out there for 4 years. where are u going out there. if ya tell me i might be able to hook u up. by the way those germans will pay more than top dollar for your car. beleve it or not, germans love american sports cars.
Hey, Im headed to Weisbaden, hour or so south of Frankfurt. Thanks for the help.
sorry i dont really know anybody who works on camaros down that way. im sure that youll find someone at the hobby shop down there that knows a thing or two. im pretty sure that is a big post down there, so they probably have a nice hobby shop. i spent most of my time up north, by frankfurt, hanau, budigen.
I was in Giessen Depot for about 3 years. the autobahn is great. Make sure you pick up one of those 500 - 1000 dollar BMW/Mercedes from a local. They are well worth the money for the wear and tear they save on your american car.
Is that a special price because your enlisted (I'm assuming) or is that an everyday price? There might be some money in shipping fbodies over there and selling them for a pretty penny.
Nope, that is the going rate...and I am active duty Army, I am a Longbow Apache Attack helicopter pilot. Well If you think you want to ship stuff over and sell them I would be happy to be a middle man, That price included all the fees and taxes etc.
Thats something to think about.. I know they go crazy for these cars over there. Say a you buy a 5000$ Z28, ship it over for 2000$ (7000$ invested) and turn around and sell it for 10,000$. Hmm..
I won't be able to do anything until next year (enlistment bonus FTW) but thats something to think about, since I was going to invest my bonus until the new Camaro comes out. Maybe I can put it to work for me.
