If you don't mind me asking, how are you getting your car over there?

There is a member from Heidleburg on here. I can't remember his name though.

I'll be in that area this summer as a tourist.

I was in Giessen Depot for about 3 years. the autobahn is great. Make sure you pick up one of those 500 - 1000 dollar BMW/Mercedes from a local. They are well worth the money for the wear and tear they save on your american car.

Is that a special price because your enlisted (I'm assuming) or is that an everyday price? There might be some money in shipping fbodies over there and selling them for a pretty penny.

Nope, that is the going rate...and I am active duty Army, I am a Longbow Apache Attack helicopter pilot. Well If you think you want to ship stuff over and sell them I would be happy to be a middle man, That price included all the fees and taxes etc.

Thats something to think about.. I know they go crazy for these cars over there. Say a you buy a 5000$ Z28, ship it over for 2000$ (7000$ invested) and turn around and sell it for 10,000$. Hmm..

I won't be able to do anything until next year (enlistment bonus FTW) but thats something to think about, since I was going to invest my bonus until the new Camaro comes out. Maybe I can put it to work for me.
