A/C Schrader Valve

My low side valve is bubbling air after a charge. Does the stem only get replaced or does the entire assembly need to be changed?

Is this a common auto parts store item - or is it specialized?

Did you try to tighten the schrader core? You can tighten them with a tool you can buy at parts stores. There is pic of one in this thread:

Well, I could've used this information earlier. Released the pressure in the system to change the stem. After removing the stem too early and creating an oil geyser , then putting the new stem in - my neighbor walks over and says he has a tool to change the stem WITHOUT releasing pressure from the system . He works for PSE&G and they carry the tool. Anyone even know this tool even existed??
