a/c experts I need answers

Alright my compressor locked up over the weekend, no big deal I"ll just replace the compressor, dryer, flush the system, and recharge it and check for leaks. The only problem my boss and my shop, yes I work at an auto shop, won't give me one ****ing day off to fix my car. So today during my lunch I got the whole system disconnected, compressor and dry taken out. I flushed it but then suddenly is started raining so I have to put my tools up quickly and leave my car outside with the a/c system fully exposed. So my question is, I know moisture in the a/c system is bad very bad, can I just put the system back to gether properly. Discharge and put a vacume on the system for say like 2 hours or so and be fine or will I have to do or replace anything else because of my quick sudden stop because of the rain.

since you are installing a new dryer, you should be fine vacuuming it down, but to be safe, I would flush it again, or at the very least, blow it out with compressed air
