a/c cold for a second then blows hot again

Like the title says , I got the car a couple weeks ago and its been blowing ice cold until yesterday. Now when you turn the a/c on it will blow a couple puffs of cold air and then it starts blowing hot air again. I plan on taking to the a/c repair shop but I wanted to check and see if it may be something simple before I do. Thanks in advance.

So I tried removing the PCM fuse for a few minutes and that didnt work
so I disconnected the battery for 30 mins and the compressor kicks right on now.

IT reads to me, that the PCM is throwing a code, disabling the A/C.... Have you check for any error codes??
