A/c

My A/C does not blow cold air at all. The compressor works like its supposed to. The pressure is fine when I checked it... right where its supposed to be no leaks. Does this just need the freeon changed out? DOes it get old and need to be replaced? Or is there something else wrong like a plugged orifice tube or something? If the freeon needs to be replaced did something cause that besides being old, like oversaturation, would I need the reciever/dryer replaced?

Re: A/c

Does the condenser get cold? There is a high pressure and a low pressure line. The line to the condensor is low pressure. That line should get cold as well.

Re: A/c

sounds like a compressor to me. i had the same problem just got the new compressor in, waiting to have it installed. mine was defective from factory, after i replaced it because the clutch kept going on it. i cant win with the a/c, next problem and its deleted.

No I don't think the lines were getting cold... its been a while since I checked, will have to check since I don't remember that well. The clutch was engaging when turned on and the pressure went from high on the gauge when off to where its supposed to when turned on and at 2000 rpms I believe.
