Cruise control

The cruise control on my 96 3.8 camaro doesn't work. Well it didn't work, then I got it to work once, now it doesn't work again. I was wondering if it most likly is the switch in the multi function lever, I have an extra one laying around to try out. If you replace this do you have to take the steering wheel/air bag off or can you feed it down the column without doing that? If it worked once could it still be the module or do you think its the switch?

No I didn't think of that, since it did work once, but I will check it... weirder things have happened. Anyways can you replace the switch without taking the steering wheel and air bag off?

Yeah, check the fuse - just noticed you have 2 posts going, one for AC and one for cruise - my car has a "A/C CRUISE" fuse that controls the compressor relay and cruise control switches and module.
