Bypass the Heater Core in 89 IROC

Bypass the Heater Core in 89 IROC

Hey guys my heater core went on me yesterday, and in previous cars i have been able to bypass the heater core, i mean i dont need a heater at this time, how do you bypass it? The quickest way possible. Please help me ASAP AIM......vivalaexil3

Not sure how the fittings are on your car, but you should just disconnect/cut the lines that go into/out of the firewall, and into the heater core, and connect them together. Heater core bypassed.

Yeah, just yank them off the pipes and get a 3/4" adapter and splice them together. Looks a little getto but it works.

Or option #2, disconnect the hose that goes into the heater core at the firewall, and then hook it up to where the hose that comes out of the heater core ends up connecting to...
