Bumper reinforcements, who's removed?

Thinking of nocking off a few pounds, will trashing the bumper reinforcement require me to trash my fog lights too?

Re: Bumper reinforcements, who's removed?

You lose the factory foglights but you can mount aftermarket ones by drilling straight into the bumper cover.
The bumper covers themselves become very flimsy after this mod.........don't let anyone sit on the bumpers under any circumstances, the bumper covers are basically held on by the pushclips and a few bolts, but there is no support to them anymore.
On the upside with both the bumper support and the fog lights removed you can run a big tranny cooler and it will get a straight shot of cool air.
My TH400 with 4K stall runs about 150 all the time.

Same here, and revtime is correct on the foglights.
