Just recently my "brake" light on the instrument panel has been coming on from time to time-does this mean anything or do you think my light is just sensitive? I'm sure my e-brake is all the way down, but I barely have to pull it up at all to get the light to go on.

Could it be anything else?

 

check your fluid level...it maybe a little low and the fluid is sloshing around... just my $0.02

 

Check your center 3rd brake light too, I rember that if they are both blown out then the brake light will come on.

To make sure your parking brake is off, is your DRL's coming on?

 

The ABS INOP light comes on if the third brake light bulbs are bad. Brake light comes on if the fluid is low or if there is a brake bias.

 

If the brake light comes on, check your fluid level first
