I just got around to checking the plugs on my '96 Z28 that I bought several years ago - and i see they are Bosch HR8DPX. Not sure if I saw that plug recommended anywhere here. Anyone have any thoughts on these?

 

Generally, the feedback on them is mixed on here. NGK, Autolite, or even a fresh set of Delcos the popular choices.

i am highly against bosch plugs in out cars(actually bosch anything). Many people on this board complain about the bosch ones after they install them.

 

I ran Bosh platinum plugs for ~40k miles w/out a problem.

What ever plug you decide on, don't buy into the multi electrode gimicks.

 

Back when my engine was near stock I installed a set of Bosch platinum plugs; engine ran rough immediately after the plug change. I doubled checked all the connections; nothing wrong with the installation. Replaced the plugs the next day with AC Delcos; problem solved.
