Body Control Module HELP!!!

Ok, I bought a 94 LT1 Firebird from a guy who put a 96 LT1 motor in the car and it wouldn't run. Well they put the OBD2 motor in complete with engine harness and so that wasn't going to work and fortunately they kept the 94 harness although it needs just a little repair which I am working on. Well for some reason the idiot decided to dig into the passenger side dash I guess in an attempt to get the 96 harness to work. I don't know I can't explain it. Anyway I don't have a body control module that will fit this car. It had one lying on the floor but it has 8 pin and a 28 pin plug where the car has a 8 pin and a 32 pin plug. I have the front harness from the other car which has the 8 pin / 28 pin plug combination but that harness is a MESS and I would rather not attempt to replace it as that is pretty much the wiring for the firewall to nose of the car except engine harness which was a big enough pain to switch. I know the module I have has a code on it like the BCC codes on the PCM's. Is this going to be a problem. Also, since I have both harnesses I have been eyeing up those plugs and 1 plug has about 14 wires and the other 15 and the coloring looks the same although the pinout is no where near similar. I have been contemplating trying to pin the 28 pin plug onto the 32 pin harness and using the module that I have. I don't want to pay GM $350 for one and don't know what else to do. I have checked a couple F-body specialests like Fbodymotorsports and they don't have a 32 pin module either. Any help would be appreciated.
