I have a 00 z28 it has the stock stick on it, I bought a hurst shifter the t-handle one, and it would not even fit with the adaptors. I found another one it is a leather that just has a H on it on ebay. I was wondering wat kind of shifter would fit on my car?? thanks alot

the standard thread for fbodies is 16mm-1.50

not sure how you expect us to know what size **** will fit your application if it is not a stock or stock replacement setup.

if the one on ebay is from an Fbody and the stick on your shifter is still stock...it should fit....same threads.

other option (and better) would be to look on ebay for a shift stick to replace the crappy one on your car...and then put the proper stock threaded **** on it.

The Hurst T is probably made for SAE threads, not metric, which is what you need.
Hurst has a few ***** that will fit 16 mm sticks. Check Summit or Jegs.
I have a Momo **** on mine. Took a bit of work to make it fit but not too much.
For shifters, you have 3 options: Hurst, Pro 5.0 and B&M. The Pro 5.0 seems to be most popular.
