Blue Z on a diet
Blue Z on a diet
Well, I got serious today and started putting the Blue Z on a diet. I pulled all the hydrolics for the top including the cylinders, lines, etc. I pulled all the old seat belt hardware (there is a ton of that stuff...), took out the CD changer (can't hear it over the exhaust anyway...), and put on a fiberglass SS hood to replace my steel one. It was a big day and I'm pretty sore, but the Z probably shed a couple hundered pounds between what I did today and pulling the A/C last week. Now if I could just drop 50 lbs. off my fat ***... lol
I also got my shifter cable fixed, so I can do some real burnouts. Hoping to get my 60s to 1.7 or so. The new goal is to break 11.5. at 5800ft. We'll see tomorrow at Bandimere's King Streets.

Long gone... also long gone !ABS, !cruise, !stock k-member, !heavy front rims (ET streets and centerline warriors all around with cookie cutters up front) I'm going to take the rear seats out, but the carpet is butchered back there, so I left them in for now....
