Blinker / tail light issue

I'm having a problem with the blinkers on my 1993 Trans Am. They work when the headlights/tail lights are off but not when they are on. When they do work, it takes a half second to a second before they flash the first time. Any ideas?

Replace the flasher unit located under the dash on the drivers side. A $2/3 part at any Auto Parts store.

I'm amazed by people like you that have no sense of humor. Learn to laugh. You'll live longer.

Your post makes me wonder if you went to Autozone and asked for some blinker fluid and got laughed at, now you're pissed....
