Bleeing power steering...

I found my power steering leak and fixed it. I started the car and the pump was whining like crazy. I turned the car off, added more fluid to the resivour and turned the wheel back and forth about 10 times and repeted this twice? Is this how you bleed the power steering? Now the resivour is full of bubbles but the pump still whines?

I usually fill res. wait 3-5 min. check level fill if need.Jack front of car up get wheels off ground. turn lock to lock 25 to 30 times checking level every 5 being I have a large aftermarket cooler. But 20 is good for non cooled. MOTOR OFF while doing this. Then recheck PS fluid level lower vehicle start/run car and turn lock to lock about 5-8 more time to be sure its good.

With yours after what you have done I would now let it sit for quite awhile let the bubbles disapate as much as possible and do the above.
