In your expert opinion what is the best, and cheapest modification that you have done to an LS1 T/A or think shoud be done to and LS1 T/A.all post are appreciated

Seat of the pants, dollar for dollar, I think 4:10 gears hands down.

 

Headers/catback/lid

 

NO2... It's the best doller per horsepower modification out there. I know a few and have heard of many LS1's dipping into the 11's on just the happy gas. It may not be the best modification, but it is probably the "cheapest" for the performance you get from it.

 

WHAT KIND OF HP IMPROVEMENT DO YOU GET FROM THE NEW GEARS?

 

Gears will not give you even 1hp. They make your car faster buy changing the gearing and making it accelerate faster. 2 tenths can be had easily by going up in gears. If you have 3:23's going to 4:10's will feel like a new car!
