BBC Wiring in a 4th gen?

Has anyone on here put a big block in a 4th gen? i am starting this project very soon, and I was wondering what you used for the wiring of the car?

Any info would be great, even if it doesn't pertain to my question

Thanks, joe

The first item on your list should be a search. The BBC in a 4th gen is asked frequently.

if you are going with a older BBC, then the only thing you need is your starter wire, alternator wire, and a power wire for your ignition(HEI, or MSD).

What about headlights, taillights, gauges, etc. Do I keep the LT1 PCM for some of that. Or can I use some set-up from a place like painless?

What kind of BBC do you have? If it's a standard carb'd motor then you don't need much. All chassis wiring has nothing to do with engine and will work as it did before. Gauges you will need to run your own wires for like oil pressure, RPM, etc. Won't need the LT1 PCM for anything other than fans and maybe a few other things. If you search you should find the info.
